Dharani InternationalSchool started in 2009 is yet another landmark of the PGP Group of Institutions. Dr.Palani G Periasamy M.A., M.A., Ph.D., (USA) is the chairman of PGP Group.

Dharani InternationalSchool situated on the outskirts of Namakkal with Kolli Hills as a backdrop the massive school building is surrounded by a scenic, impressive campus. It consists four blocks of exceptional design - The Main School, PGP Kinder Garden, Boarding for Boys and Girls & the School Canteen.

It imparts quality education and enriches the learning environment in order to optimize each child's overall development and help realize its full potential. Dharani InternationalSchool is an institution that works forwards nurturing young minds and making of competent and proficient individuals.

Dharani InternationalSchool is introducing a unique programme called "SCOPE" - "Students Comprehensive Orientation Programme in Education" for development. Through SCOPE we judge the strength, weakness, intelligence and inclination of each child and help them to take the right career decision.

Curriculum

The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, to which it is affiliated. The medium of instruction is English. Hindi & Tamil are the additional languages, of which, one can be dropped in Std IX.

It is very much apparent that we live today in a world that is so very different from the one we grew up in ,the one we were educated in.Change in today's world is riding an accelerated pace and we need to pause and reflect it on the entire education system. I firmly believe that students must be taught how to think, not what to think. That reminds me of the great words of wisdom by Aristotle,

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

As we impart education to match the advancement of technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with the ethos of moral and ethical principles. The values and environment we provide for our children are sustainable and see them successfully through their formative years. The investment we put in to our children today will help them achieve greater heights and create the unimaginable.

It gives me an immense sense of happiness and honor to announce that Dharani International School is all set to commence its new session with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to impart quality 360 degree education to its extra inquisitive session ,I would request all ;parents to partner with us and join hands to provide our children with effective tools of learning that help them to make their own identity rather than be predecessors of geniuses. Welcome to the world of Dharani International School. According to Varro “educit obstetrix, educat nutrix, instituit paedagogus, docet magister”, “the midwife draws forth, the wet nurse nourishes, the tutor trains, the teacher teaches.”. It shows the continuity of the process of “leading out”, which begins with birth, and continues throughout the life of the person. This process we call education. Accordingly education does not mean only the acquisition of knowledge, but it is the development of attitudes and skills.

We, at DINS, strive to respect the unique individuality of each child, give the child the right kind of help to have an all round development. We believe that a child will be successful in life if we accept him/her as they are and inspire them to become what they want to become. The learning environment is also used as a strategic tool to power and excel. DINS Provides an atmosphere where child is allowed to discover his/ her own abilities.We give lot of importance to make discipline a core value, encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility through a well planned academic schedule, House system, various Inter School, Intra School competitions and Sports activities. We expect them to do the same at home too like keeping the rooms tidy, making the beds, helping and supporting the family members in the daily chores etc.
